Terms of Use

1. What Vinbridge does

Vinbridge helps car importers and brokers source used vehicles in the United States. You email a request to your Vinbridge inbox. The service then:

• searches vehicle listings (including MarketCheck data, VIN decoding by the US NHTSA vPIC service, and AI-assisted web search);
• emails dealers on your behalf to ask for documents such as a vehicle history report (e.g. CARFAX), the title and a photo of the door label;
• reads the documents with AI (Anthropic’s Claude) and checks them against the import rules of your destination market; and
• gives you a recommendation for each vehicle.

2. Recommendations, not advice

Every recommendation is advisory. A person — you or your team — always makes the final decision about a vehicle. Vinbridge never approves or rejects a vehicle on its own.

Vinbridge is not legal, customs, tax or financial advice. Import and customs rules shown in the service are guidance only and may be incomplete, out of date or interpreted differently by the authorities. Confirm the rules with the competent authority or a licensed customs broker before you buy or import a vehicle.

We do not buy, sell, ship, import or clear vehicles, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a dealer or any other third party.

3. Accounts

• You sign in with a link sent to your email address or with your Google account.
• New accounts are reviewed and must be approved by an administrator before they can be used. We may refuse an account at our discretion.
• Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep access to your email account and Google account secure: anyone who controls them can sign in as you.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or is required to be suspended by law.

4. Emails to dealers on your behalf

You authorise us to contact dealers by email on your behalf about your requests. You are responsible for the content of your requests and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including import, consumer and anti-spam laws.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose or to send unsolicited or misleading messages;
• upload content you have no right to share, or content that is malicious;
• try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or interfere with the service’s operation or security;
• copy, scrape or resell the service or its data, except as we agree in writing.

6. Third-party information and AI

Listings, vehicle history reports, VIN data and dealer documents come from third parties. We do not verify them and are not responsible for their accuracy or completeness.

AI reading of requests and documents can make mistakes. Always check the original documents before you rely on a recommendation.

7. Your content

You keep your rights in the requests and documents you send to the service. You grant us a licence to store, process and transmit them as needed to provide and secure the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

8. Fees

Fees, if any, are agreed with you separately in writing.

9. Availability and changes to the service

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and the service may be unavailable from time to time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and we are not liable for any decision to buy, ship or import a vehicle or for the vehicle itself.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account by writing to privacy@example.com. We may suspend or close your account as described in section 3.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is material, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
